Don’t miss out on this years Adirondack Balloon Festival. Opening ceremonies are at 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 22nd at Crandall Park in Glens Falls a short walk from the inn. Surround yourself with beautiful hot-air balloons as they become inflated and launched. From 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. the City of Glens Falls will be having a Block Party featuring a walk-about balloon, balloon baskets on display, a car show and kid’s activities.
On Friday evening, September 23rd at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport watch the flight of up to 80 balloons gates open at 3 p.m.
Start Saturday early at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport for a craft fair, activities, crafts, games, aircraft static display. That evening there will be a flight of up to 100 balloons. Later at 8 p.m. “Lighting Up The Night” Airport Moonglow featuring 30+ balloons.
